The Dept. of Public Art (DPA) is a volunteer-based organization, committed to creating art in the public realm with a strong community involvement and support for local artists.

DPA focuses its efforts in local neighborhoods (Floral Ave Park in 2017 & 2018 and the Northside of Binghamton, NY in 2016 and 2019). We hope to bring people together to foster creativity.

Engage on
multiple levels

We believe artists should be valued for their work and contributions to the community. DPA has a large roster of interested artists who want to engage on many levels, both as volunteers, as project leaders, and as solo artists.
